Club Fitting

For years, the national manufacturers forced you to purchase off-the-shelf assembly line clubs.  Custom clubfitters disagreed with this off-the-shelf mind set and invested in the technology to fit the club to the player, not make the player fit the club. Custom clubs are fitted to your exact specs with consistent lies and lofts.

For us to begin to design your custom clubs, please be prepared to discuss these questions:

  1. What is your age and height?
  2. What is your skill level: a beginner, have a handicap index, or scratch?
  3. How far do you hit a pitching wedge? 5-iron? driver?
  4. Do you hit the ball low, medium, or high? Do you want to change that?
  5. Do you fade or slice?
  6. Draw or hook?
  7. Hit the ball straight?
  8. Do you know what flex your current irons and woods are?
  9. What is better for you - graphite or steel - or is that up for discussion?
  10. Length of club?
  11. Lie of club: upright, flat, or standard?
  12. Grip: hard or soft?
  13. Grip: undersized, standard, midsized, or oversized?
  14. We are seeing more irons being replaced by hybrid clubs. Does this interest you?
  15. Do you have any other special desires for your new clubs?
